I've become increasingly aware of how detrimentally boring this place can be. Surely there must be something in this blasted city to do. The least they could do is provide some bloody entertainment.

So I was thinking. I've yet to discover a game I couldn't beat someone in. And there simply must be all sorts of games where you lot are from...

Depends on what sort of game you're interested in. Puzzles, virtual board games, dating simulation, fetch quest, role playing...

You can either get a computer, which does more than puzzles, or you can get a video game system, which has games of all sorts available for it.

I'd say a handheld system like the Nintendo DS would be best for a handheld, since their puzzle games are rather challenging.

I used to play video games with my little brother a lot. I like having a challenge.

The challenge is the best part. [He smirks rather dryly.] I've always been quite the competitor. Yet finding someone who can win against me at chess has been disappointing time and time again.

Perhaps this video game will change that?

The computer calculates, formulates, and thinks faster than any human can. It will present the challenge you're looking for.

I'd actually recommend a game called Tetris. It's a game challenging you to organize falling blocks as quickly as possible; the speed increases at each level. I've only reached level 13 or so.
