I've become increasingly aware of how detrimentally boring this place can be. Surely there must be something in this blasted city to do. The least they could do is provide some bloody entertainment.

So I was thinking. I've yet to discover a game I couldn't beat someone in. And there simply must be all sorts of games where you lot are from...

I should like to tell you that where I'm from, I'm known as the Queen's Watchdog. The Phantomhive family has been serving the position for years. I've solved many a grotesque crime.

So I met this guy who says he knows what this curfew thing is all about. He was going to give me more information, but he wanted me to meet him after this curfew in the plaza tonight.

Well it doesn't take a detective to figure out how potentially unsafe that sounds -- so I bowed out. I think the guy was playing a game with me -- but I dunno, he sounded pretty serious.

I figure you might be interested, since you seem up for this sort of thing. Ah, but it's still possibly dangerous, so I understand if you're not up for the challenge.

[ yes, everything he just said is bullshit because he's curious about what happens to someone when they break curfew. ]
