It's been five long... ridiculous months since I arrived here, I've realized. Yet somehow one who's only been here hardly a month has managed to leave. The promise of this elevator had best happen soon. I'd much like to return home.

It's been nearly a year since I've come to this city. Next month would make it a year, I believe.

This city doesn't quite care about how much time it's been between appearances and disappearances, it seems.

By better things, I'd guess you mean our business back home, hm? Perhaps if we find a way back, they'll find a way to send us back to the same time we left. It certainly seems possible.

One can indeed change, however if the time spend changing is forgotten, is the subject still affected?

If it has... perhaps I missed the memo. There were times when I found myself sleeping for more than a month.

If they manage to erase these memories we've acquired by perhaps magical means thanks to that coral, then perhaps some fragments of it might remain in our subconscious.

All the research Sebastian and I have done has suggested it, in the least. And certain people who leave and come back often claim they remembered nothing while they were home, but the memories of here were retained when reentering.
