Five months.

[Someone's slightly perturbed today...]

It's been five long... ridiculous months since I arrived here, I've realized. Yet somehow one who's only been here hardly a month has managed to leave. The promise of this elevator had best happen soon. I'd much like to return home.

If it has... perhaps I missed the memo. There were times when I found myself sleeping for more than a month.

[ Still a curious thing, however. He's gonna have to ask around about that. ]

If they manage to erase these memories we've acquired by perhaps magical means thanks to that coral, then perhaps some fragments of it might remain in our subconscious.

All the research Sebastian and I have done has suggested it, in the least. And certain people who leave and come back often claim they remembered nothing while they were home, but the memories of here were retained when reentering.

Research? Though there are some who have been here before and don't remember that they have. I wonder what causes the difference.
